Kindo’s Getting Older

We’ve just launched a new version of Kindo. I think this release makes the application really come to live.

We’re still in private beta, but not for much longer - it’s soon time for Kindo to meet the world. You can sign up for news on kindo.com and be the first to know.

Here’s a screenshot of Julio Iglesias’s family tree. He’s not involved in Kindo in any way, but he’s a good singer.

kindo is warming up

We’re still not open to the world, but now we have a name, an URL, a blog and a private beta version. See blog.kindo.com and www.kindo.com

So thats the end of the secret era, and the start of the kindo era. May it last forever.

The Alpha

We now have a working site, and today we finally started to invite people to test it out.

It’s far from ready for the public - we’re working hard on design, copy, features, bugs - but it’s good enough to get valuable feedback.

Stay tuned for the beta…

(oh it’s fun to be secretive)

The Face of a London Startup

Our offices are in this building. Feels like a piece of Moscow in Putney.

Up until Friday we have a nice view of the river, but now we’ve moved behind the big billboard for Sky.

But who cares - we’re having fun :)

.com

Yesterday we bought the .com address for our new project, from a friendly Finn living in the States. Today I bought got some additional top-level domains, straight from the registrator, which of course was much cheaper. I’m now working on getting rest of the important domain names, which is a real pain. World domination is not easy.

A slightly unusual working week

I’ve started working on a new startup project in London, together with a good team of investors and developers. I can’t yet tell exactly what it’s about but will do soon. My focus is user acquisition, which means marketing and BD. Since it’s so early days, it’s mostly about market research.

So far I spend about 3 days a week on this project, and the rest of the week on my own projects. It’s a great mix.
